Much has been written about the Bison Boys, but who were these guys? In the days when catfish walked the earth and reindeer had no fear of crossbows, Jimm Juback, Mike Mosher, and Gary Malvin, three guys who know the value of gold, formed this trio that played at friends' basements, Christian coffee houses, and, as their fame spread, the Ark.
But the Bison Boys didn't always have it so good. To really open the revolving garage door on the lives and times of these three lads, read Thin Gruel with Bison: Ann Arbor Folk Music Forty Years Ago, by Bison Boys piano player Mike Mosher.
